I hate spam of all kinds whether it be via email or even comment spam on my websites. It’s horrible!! The amount of spam I get is ridiculous. So I need some help to any bloggers out there!!
What spam plugins, addons, or whatever do you use to minimize the amount of spam or fake comments you get on your blog??
I currently use Akismet only and even though that catches some, it lets way too many slide by. My comment moderation feels like a chore with the amount of spam and garbage. 
So, help me out. Any suggestions are very much appreciated!
I enjoy tweeting, I really do. Sure I don’t tweet fifty million times a day like some people, but I do when I can or want to express something. But recently, TWITTER.com is failing on me. Why? Lag lag lag lag, and time outs. Seriously what the hell!!
I know it’s not my internet, because all other website loads perfectly. Their main page and blog loads up fine. Then when I try to visit pages of certain users or just random people, that’s when it will stay on the loading page forever. It’s not always, but I’d say about 85% of the time it will do that. I wait five to ten minutes before refreshing. Sometimes it will load after that, and sometimes it won’t.
I know Twitter. com gets lots of traffic, but please fix this problem. First time, I didn’t think much about it. After three or four days of this happening over and over again, it just downright makes me mad. Even the Firefox addon Echofon that I use will lag out when I try to tweet because the actually Twitter site is stalling or whatever the hell it’s doing.
Ahhh it’s soooo annoying!! 
I’ve been watching so many movies lately…since there’s never anything better to do with my time. Plus, I don’t sleep much so I need to occupy the time with doing something! 
I can’t believe the amount of websites out there that allow you to watch pretty much any movie – both new to dvd or new to theaters. It’s crazy. Of course I always recommend go support the movie and watch it at the theater, but when times are tough and you don’t really have the funds to go out and see a movie, you may just want to watch it online for free. No downloading it either…just watch it free streaming online.
I just finished watching “The Proposal” starring Sandra Bullock & Ryan Reynolds. It was awesome and so funny. Go watch it if you haven’t. Seriously great movie. The next movie on my list is probably Shutter Island starring Leonardo DiCaprio. That looks like a freaky mystery type movie.

Hello Hello…I haven’t disappeared again just yet.
I’m working on another blog, kind of keeping it on the down low. Some people may have already figured it out, but I won’t be announcing it here or on any of my known blogs. It’s sort of another side of me and stuff I like. Definitely kawaii too!! Heehee.
But anyways, back to blogging here. As promised in my last post, I finally got around to uploading some updated photos of my nephew Marquis (2 years) and niece Jahnaya (2 months). Photos taken by me obviously cause I love them to bits. 
Aren’t they cute? I sure think so! LOL! 
Yikes…time flys by so quickly. I can’t believe it’s already February 2010. Feels just like yesterday it was xmas. Well, not a whole lot has been happening with me. Just been worrying and stressing over things financially. At the same time, I’m trying to find a job or go back to school. I’m not sure which one yet since the one option I was thinking about, I got screwed out of when I read about scams and how this certain college was. And yes…of course they were the closest to me that had the program I was looking into.
But that’s life…some things work out and some don’t. Ugh…wish it were easier.
So nowadays, I’ve been spending my time taking care of my niece and nephew. I love them dearly!! And that reminds me, I should post up a new picture of them both since I haven’t updated in such awhile. I’ll put that on my to do list. LOL.
Well, I’m going to go back to watching some movies online. I found some nifty websites that allow you to watch free movies online of movies that are currently out in the theater. ^_^ Definitely addicting when you have a whole afternoon of doing nothing but picking which movies you want to watch instead of wasting money and driving out to a local theater. Heh…back to watching. Later.

Since that’s out of the way…time for a real post.
Life has been busy but not to the extremes. I always forget to update my blogs because I either get preoccupied doing something else, or what I was going to blog about slips my mind. It’s sad really. I feel like I’m neglecting all these blogs I worked so hard on creating and maintaining.
So let me give you a quick rundown of where I’m at and what’s going on in my life.
- I’m going to be an aunt again but this time with a perk – I’m the godmother of my niece Jahnaya who’s due date is this December. Here’s a 4-D ultrasound pic I uploaded recently. *can’t wait*
- I’m officially 24 years old now! My birthday was on October 29th. Had lots of fun with the fam and the gifts were awesome too.
- November is going to be a busy month. Got my dad’s and nephew’s birthday. Also have a baby shower to throw for my sister…Not to mention it’s probably a good time to get out in the mall and start some early Christmas shopping before all the snow and crazy shoppers come by. Oh ya…can’t forget – “NEW MOON” out in November!!!
- Still deciding whether or not I want to go back to college and take some course I’m interested in. Oh ya…if I did decide, the funds are not there since I’m currently unemployed and I’d have to figure out some sort of school loan thingy which I’m not sure I want to get into.
- Still single – by choice. I’ve had some guys I’ve been talking to, but nothing I want to pursue further than friendship or a one time fling. I’m still trying to figure out my life and would rather not get distracted with guys, issues, and drama. Trust me, I have more than enough of that crap in my life at the moment.
So ya…that’s pretty much my life right now in a nutshell.
It’s Tuesday…meaning it’s maintenance day for WOW. Today has yet another extended maintenance going on which sucks because I have nothing to do at the moment. In the end, the wait will be worth it. Why???
PATCH 3.2 IS OUT!!!! 
I am so excited to finally try out the latest patch (3.2) for the World of Warcraft online game….and yes I’m a chick who plays this game – shocking isn’t it!! LOL!
This latest patch is going to add quite a few new things and some changes that are just going to be awesome!!
- Crusaders’ Coliseum
- Isle of Conquest 40 vs 40 player battleground
- New Argent Tournament dailies, quests, and rewards
- Emblem changes & the new Emblem of Triumph (time to farm heroics for Conquest emblems and finish off my T8.5 set — yes…u can now get CONQUEST EMBLEMS FROM HEROICS. WOOT!!)
- New zeppelin outside Thunder Bluff
- New Portal that takes you to the Dark Portal for easy transportation to Outlands in ALL MAJOR CITIES… finally!! No more long traveling to get from point A to point B.
- Did I mention LEVEL 20 MOUNTS!!!! Wohooo….finally faster to travel around without having to wait until level 30 to get a mount. Also faster ground mount speed at level 40 instead of 60 and flying mount at level 60 instead of 70.
- Potions = stacks with 20 instead of 5 (thank god – more bag space)
- and so much more…
Seriously…this new patch is bringing in way too many things to list. Read the patch notes if you haven’t yet because the servers will most likely end up crashing with the amount of players logging on once maintenance is over with. By the way…they come up at 3pm PDT which is 6pm EST.
