Did any of you watch Oprah today with Barbara Walters on it? You can see a preview of it here.

It was really fascinating to be honest. Just the way she told her stories glued you to the television set. Well, for me anyways. I was just so interested in what she had to say. It was different than most interviews on Oprah. Barbara Walters just seemed so down to earth and she got really emotional about a few things and didn’t want to continue on one topic. She said something, “I’ll just leave it as that”.

Her main reason for being on the show was to promote her new book “Audition: A Memoir“. I think I’m actually going to pick this up from the bookstore or buy it online. Weird isn’t it? I’m actually interested in reading about Barbara Walters’ life…a woman twice my age. Hah!

So, of course I’m curious and go to check it out. Read the website and it seemed too good to be true. I do a little search on it and found many other sites claiming it’s a scam. (search “contact them scam” and see for yourself) You can even read a whole report about it here.

When are people going to stop with all these scams? Seriously…they get old rather quickly and I’m sick of getting junk like this.

Can you believe that Mother’s Day is literally next week?!! Geeze…months do fly by because I have yet to get my mom anything yet. I’ve been thinking about things she needs or wants and have come up with a few things. Maybe a new cookware set (which is what my dad suggested), summer clothes, or even some kind of electronic.

Today has been a good day. I’ve been an argument with my sister for the past week. She came over today and we cleared it up. Thankfully because I just hate arguments and would rather clear up the issues in person. So yay for me because we are talking again.

Part of the reason why she came over was because a bunch of the girls from the wedding party from my other sister’s wedding got together to come up with games and plans for the bridal shower. It was fun and very productive. Now, we just have to go out and get more prizes bought and I have to type up some sheets that we are going to use for games.

So that’s what I’ll probably be doing sometime tomorrow amongst other things I have on my list to get completed.
