I just read this article on CNN.com. I still can’t believe this happened.
A man who believed he bore the biblical “mark of the beast” used a circular saw to cut off one hand, then he cooked it in the microwave and called 911, authorities said.
How insane can this guy be? I mean seriously!! I believe in God and read the bible but not everything should be taken literally. Anyone who hasn’t read the bible is probably wondering why would he cut off his hand? Well the article goes on to say…
The Book of Revelation in the New Testament contains a passage in which an angel is quoted as saying: “If anyone worships the beast and his image and receives his mark on the forehead or on the hand, he, too, will drink the wine of God’s fury.”
The book of Matthew also contains the passage: “And if your right hand causes you to sin, cut it off and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for you whole body to do into hell.”
So you can see why this guy cut it off but come on…He cooks it too?? This is almost as bad as the story I read about a guy killing and cooking his girlfriend, then calling authorities too. I think the world is getting stranger and stranger everyday.

OMG! That is awful.
This guy was a fairly close friend of mine, and lived about 6 blocks or so from my residence. We all knew he wasn’t all there, but to go as far as seeing the mark of the beast on his hand, cutting it off and trying to cook it? I mean come on Rus (thats his name), thats going a little far don’t ya think? We used to play basketball, and I used to CONSTANTLY give him rides places. He was a little strange but still a pretty cook guy. He lived accross the way from the trailor my fiance worked as a caretaker for Rus’s friend, who unfortunately was parapalegic. He also has my kittens brother, and we ALWAYS hung out together…its just wierd finding out that you were a personal friend of somebody that would do that…its just wierd. He’s a nice guy, just…a little effed up in the head.
