I’ve had numerous discussions with my parents about selling our house and moving elsewhere. Of course they don’t want to move anywhere because they say it’s close to everything they need – bank, groceries, library, dollar store, schools, etc.

I don’t understand why they wouldn’t want to sell our house if they could easily make a $200K profit. Man…I could smell that money right now. It would help me with so many things. But it’s my parents hard work that has made that profit for our house possible. So I can’t just make them sell it because I’m not that type of person. It would be nice though. LOL!

My father keeps talking about that if he ever sells our house, it’ll be when he’s retired and doesn’t want to worry about cutting grass or doing other things around the house. He even did his own research on condos for sale that would be great for an aging couple. It’s their hard worked for money that has given us lots of privileges, so I guess what they say goes when it comes to buying or selling property. But they do know where I stand. $$$ … a house doesn’t make a home so I can’t understand their attachment to it.
