So I went to see “The Messengers” today with my sister and her boyfriend. She was late picking me up which resulted in us arriving about 10 minutes late for the movie. Arrggghh…yup…we had to walk in the bloody dark following those stupid little lights on the stairs to find a good spot at the top. Thank goodness it wasn’t too full either because we ended up getting nice seats!!

From the moment we sat down, the movie captivated us…well me anyways. Not even five minutes of watching, freaky things started happening that made you jump. I love horror movies, so jumping while I’m watching, it not something I normally do because I already expect it. But man…let me tell you…I jumped on a few parts in that movie. It was that darn good!

I’m not going to go into details of what the movie is about just in case some of you haven’t seen it yet, but the plotline is about a family that moves into a farmhouse where they are trying to start new. Then the son, who looks like he’s 2 years old, starts seeing things in the corner of the room, and just playing with “someone else” who is not visible to the naked eye. Then the teenage daughter starts experiencing it too but in a more harmful way where they have physical contact with her. From there, I’m not telling you the rest bcause it gets really good.

So you have to check it out! —  5/5 Stars
