When you lose someone you love
That was greater than life
You must look up to heaven
Because they say it’s alright

You must keep on living
Keeping their memory alive
You can do that by telling stories
Or in something you thrive

The worst thing you can do
Is forget that they existed
Or even didn’t see the signs
Because you never listened

Listen to your heart
Your soul and your mind
Because they will get you through
Before it’s your time

Life is too precious
Live each day as your last
Because you’ll never know
When you’ll take your final breath
