I recently got a free Blackberry Curve 9300. So glad I did too!!

My old Blackberry Curve 8310 was just…BAD. No wifi, slow as hell, so many battery pulls because it would freeze constantly, etc. I got it a few years ago.

In this day and age, TECHNOLOGY CHANGES AT A RAPID PACE. So my precious 8310 was outdated really fast.

Well, I’m a longtime customer of Rogers Canada. I had an old mobile phone and another account.

Why two accounts? At the time I was a teenager and thus the account was under my father’s name. When I eventually decided to get my first Blackberry which was some time later, I closed the old account and made the new one for myself. So, when I’m saying longtime customer, that would probably be a good 10+years at minimum.

Anyways, after a year or two of your contract, you might be eligible for a hardware upgrade. They send  you a letter in the mail listing which phones may be suitable for you. Two of them were offered to me at $0. If I wanted the latest models, I would have to pay some money for it. Having a tight budget at the moment, really made my option a no brainer. FREE BLACKBERRY PLEASE & THANK YOU!

My Blackberry 9300

The Blackberry Curve 9300 is what I went with. It’s a big upgrade from the 8310 that I previously had. It runs so SMOOTHLY! The difference is remarkable. Plus I have wifi (which I wanted badly), a better camera, and lots of performance improvements.

When I called in to ask about my eligibility for the hardware upgrade program, the representative from Rogers hooked me up!! Got tons of freebies & extra things on my plan that I probably won’t use, but hey…it was FREE TOO! They even discounted $5 off my monthly rate which helps out quite a bit.

I’m really happy with not only the product but my good friends at Rogers!

Thank you Rogers Canada & RIM!

ps… BBM 4 LIFE!!
