Wow…I haven’t blogged here in a week. *smacks self* That’s how busy my little world can get even though it seems like I’m doing nothing all day long. Um…so this post is going to be all over the place since I have little things here and there to update about.

The weather is in the 30s both yesterday and today which is just great. The problem though is the fact I work both days. Like I mentioned before, the weather is always nice on days I tend to work. Ughh….why not nice on a day I’m off? I hope Monday or even tomorrow will be nice as well since I want to get out and go to the park or lake.

So ya…how is my new flash?? BLOODY AWESOME!!! I can’t believe I did without it for such a long time. I have taken some pictures, but those I haven’t put on my Flickr account. Will do so probably tomorrow. I don’t like having the flash directly pointing to my subject. It creates hard shadows. If you have it pointed slightly upwards, then the light bounces of the ceiling/wall and creates a nice soft image. AMAZING results!!

Vacation…Did I mention we’re probably heading to CUBA next month!!!!!!!!! Yippy!!!!! I can’t wait to be basking in the sunlight on the white sandy beach and then swimming in the ocean (my favourite thing ever!!!). So how did it come about? I was on my way to work yesterday and talking to my dad about stuff. He was mentioning how he wanted to see Cuba but wasn’t sure to go this year or not because they are already wasting money for my sister’s wedding which is in August. I think he was just waiting for me to agree on going which I totally did. I told him straight upfront I needed a vacation really bad and to swim in the ocean. He agreed and we starting talking about which dates, places, etc. So when I got to work, I had some time before I started and so I hopped online to check out some places. I found one resort in particular that we are looking at going to. Can’t say what it is yet, but it’s definitely looking good for us to go.

Now I just have to start setting aside some money and convince my dad that he should pay for my trip. LOL! I usually get my way anyways, but I’ll pay him back slowly for it since he already paid for my trip last year and didn’t take any of my money that I tried to give him.

I’m so excited over it!!! CUBA HERE I COME!!!

March 26, 2008 Summer = Vacation Time!

I hope summer comes sooner than later this year. It just seems that’s it’s taking too long especially with all the snow coming once again. *sigh*.

I have already been talking about vacations with my parents and what they have in mind. My father wants to go to Cuba. My mother has no preference. Myself? Undecided yet.

But thank goodness for websites like VacationRentals.com. At least I can find different vacation homes we can rent out such as the Florida Vacation Home section of the site. From there I can easily pick a specific location in Florida and see what rental homes there are. The best thing is that they have so many possibilities and many different cities all across the world. Sweet!

I have never been to Florida so it would be nice to go down there with my family. My aunt and uncle always talk about it too, so I’m sure it would be fun.

*looks out window* … I hope summer is coming … seriously I do.

I love recalling long lost memories…even ones from my childhood. One of them that I just thought about the other day, actually goes in hand with a special announcement I need to make in this post.

When I was a kid, a lot of times my sisters and I would get all dolled up and dance to random music on the radio. It was hilarious because our hair would be everywhere and the clothes we wore were actually really ridiculous!! But we didn’t care on bit. It was us dancing with the music that was playing.

Guess who was the artist we listened to quite often, due to my parents liking this person’s music? Nope not Elvis…It’s CHER!!!

I just found out that there are Cher Tickets at Caesars Palace. She’s actually have a show starting at the beginning of May this year!!! OMG..that is friggin awesome!! I told my parents and they were honestly really excited to hear about it.

I adore her music. She has such a unique voice that is really easy to listen to. Plus her songs are just so wonderful!! Come on…I think everyone is a Cher fan. You have had to grown up listening to her!! Well, I did anyways. LOL!

So ya, her new show is coming to Caesars Palace which is in Las Vegas. It’s replacing the show in which Celine Dion use to perform. Maybe I can convince my parents of taking the whole family on a road trip down to the States to see her live. Now THAT would be AMAZING!!!

Do you have a car?? If you do then you should have a first aid kit with medical supplies in it. You never know when you’ll need to pull it out and use it.

There are so many times where someone has cut themselves while on a family outing. Sometimes, the cut or injury is more serious than it looks. A least with having a first aid kit in your car, you can use it for the time being until you get to the nearest hospital so they can take a look.

Just check at your local department stores for this as I’ve seen it many times before. It would make a great Christmas gift too!! …just an idea for ya. lol
