I’m not a big golf fan. Heck, all I know about it is that you have to swing and hit the ball to get it in a hole. In regards to things like rules, I have absolutely no clue.

Some of my friends really enjoy playing this sport and even have some Mizuno golf items. I don’t know how they enjoy golf because I can’t really stand it. Whenever I see it on tv, I end up switching the channel. And don’t get me started on the whole “Tiger Woods” thing. Geeze…enough media coverage on that guy.

The only sport I love watching on tv is soccer. Now that is entertaining!! Then again I’m Portuguese and soccer is our world. LOL!

PRESS RELEASE:
Lanaudière, Snowmobile Country,
announces the opening of 350 km of trails

For more than 30 years, Lanaudière has been a snowmobiling capital!

Rawdon, November 30, 2007 – Mother Nature has been busy during the past week, covering the Lanaudière landscape with an average of 45 cm (18 inches) of snow and more in the northern part of the region. Snowmobile enthusiasts can now start their engines for a new season with 350 kilometres (161 miles) of trails open in northern Lanaudière.

These are the areas that are currently accessible, where conditions are good with new snow coverage:

• Mont-Tremblant National Park (start at Pimbina entrance)
• Certain areas in Saint-Zénon
• Certain areas in Saint-Michel-des-Saints

For precise and accurate information, contact the snowmobile clubs concerned directly (Club Saint-Donat at 819 424-7988; Club snowmobile du royaume at 450 884-5762).

To find out about trail conditions (updated regularly), weather, touring suggestions or order your free copy of our new snowmobile trail map, just visit www.snowmobilecountry.ca or call 1 800 363-2788.

Please note that lakes are not yet frozen over.

Tourisme Lanaudière reminds you of the importance of driving safely and respectfully. Permission to pass through private property is difficult to conserve and represents a privilege to users. Respect for property and words of thanks to owners are gestures that are greatly appreciated, and it is equally important to respect signs and trail markers.

October 18th, 2007I’m not a huge sports fan

I’m not a huge sports fan. When I was a kid I was more into it. Now, I only like a few sports such as soccer and hockey. One of my good friends is trying to get me to attend football games. My own city has a team (the Tiger Cats), and yet I have never seen them in action. Most people in my city have, but not me LOL!

My friend J, adores football. He has anything and everything related to football in his room. It’s crazy!! He even buys tickets such as Jets tickets or even Tiger Cats tickets online. He says it’s the easiest way to get them. I would agree because you get them with just a click of a button instead of waiting in line at your local Ticket Master.

Who knows…maybe I’ll attend a game when football season starts again. LOL!

September 16th, 2007I do not play golf

I have never understood the game of golf. The only thing I know is that you have to get the ball into a little hole by swinging something like a Titleist golf club. I don’t know the rules or requirements for playing the game.

I knew this guy who I went to school with and he was completely obsessed with golf. It seemed like everyday he was playing a game of golf. I’ve since lost touch with him but always wondered if he is working on making it to the professionals. I’m sure he is because he breathed golf night and day.

Guessing ones affiliation to the super bowl is not that hard. The ardent fan following of oakland raiders have tested well against time, time and again. Almost same holds true for the lovers of pittsburgh steelers.
