Sorry been so absent. Honestly, I just don’t really have anything crazy going on at the moment in my life. It’s just blah at the moment.

Seems like I’ve been looking for a job forever and still have come up with nothing. It’s just so annoying because I don’t know what our government is smoking, but I see no job opportunities ANYWHERE even though they said there was a job growth or something like that. Ugh…

Hopefully I can find something soon.

Yes…I seriously need one so bad. If I had money to spend and go on one, I would in a heartbeat.

My younger sister went off to Jamaica today, and yes, I am officially jealous. While she gets to lay out in the warm sunshine, swim in the sparkling ocean, and have a drink fest with her friends, I get to take care of her two kids – my goddaughter who is currently 5 months old and my nephew who is 2 ½.

Don’t get me wrong, I love them with all my heart. The thing I just have problems dealing with is all the tantrums, whining, and throwing of toys that mainly is done by my nephew. They say it’s terrible twos, and now I know why. He has a temper, that’s for sure.

I don’t blame my sister for wanting to go on vacation, I would too having to deal with that on a daily basis. Getting away seems like a nice idea, especially when you really don’t have to look after anyone else but yourself.

Ugh, I feel like I have a million and one things to accomplish this month, one big one in particular – getting a job. It sucks since this entire week I’m devoting to my goddaughter and nephew. There’s no time to go out and apply to places or any of that, and I’m sure as hell not going to do it while I have both of them. No way. I don’t think I can handle the both of them out in public. At home there’s a ton of toys I can distract them with. Outside, I’m not that sure.

I’m sure hoping this week flies on by so I don’t have to deal with both of them 24/7. Plus, my sister said she’d bring me back something. I’m thinking she’ll probably get me a shot glass since I collect them from various places. If she does, I’ll be one happy camper. Heehee.

Hello Hello…I haven’t disappeared again just yet.

I’m working on another blog, kind of keeping it on the down low. Some people may have already figured it out, but I won’t be announcing it here or on any of my known blogs. It’s sort of another side of me and stuff I like. Definitely kawaii too!! Heehee.

But anyways, back to blogging here. As promised in my last post, I finally got around to uploading some updated photos of my nephew Marquis (2 years) and niece Jahnaya (2 months). Photos taken by me obviously cause I love them to bits.

Aren’t they cute? I sure think so! LOL!

Yikes…time flys by so quickly. I can’t believe it’s already February 2010. Feels just like yesterday it was xmas. Well, not a whole lot has been happening with me. Just been worrying and stressing over things financially. At the same time, I’m trying to find a job or go back to school. I’m not sure which one yet since the one option I was thinking about, I got screwed out of when I read about scams and how this certain college was. And yes…of course they were the closest to me that had the program I was looking into.

But that’s life…some things work out and some don’t. Ugh…wish it were easier.

So nowadays, I’ve been spending my time taking care of my niece and nephew. I love them dearly!! And that reminds me, I should post up a new picture of them both since I haven’t updated in such awhile.  I’ll put that on my to do list. LOL.

Well, I’m going to go back to watching some movies online. I found some nifty websites that allow you to watch free movies online of movies that are currently out in the theater. ^_^ Definitely addicting when you have a whole afternoon of doing nothing but picking which movies you want to watch instead of wasting money and driving out to a local theater. Heh…back to watching. Later.

Since that’s out of the way…time for a real post.

Life has been busy but not to the extremes. I always forget to update my blogs because I either get preoccupied doing something else, or what I was going to blog about slips my mind. It’s sad really. I feel like I’m neglecting all these blogs I worked so hard on creating and maintaining.

So let me give you a quick rundown of where I’m at and what’s going on in my life.

• I’m going to be an aunt again but this time with a perk – I’m the godmother of my niece Jahnaya who’s due date is this December. Here’s a 4-D ultrasound pic I uploaded recently. *can’t wait*
• I’m officially 24 years old now! My birthday was on October 29th. Had lots of fun with the fam and the gifts were awesome too.
• November is going to be a busy month. Got my dad’s and nephew’s birthday. Also have a baby shower to throw for my sister…Not to mention it’s probably a good time to get out in the mall and start some early Christmas shopping before all the snow and crazy shoppers come by. Oh ya…can’t forget – “NEW MOON” out in November!!!
• Still deciding whether or not I want to go back to college and take some course I’m interested in. Oh ya…if I did decide, the funds are not there since I’m currently unemployed and I’d have to figure out some sort of school loan thingy which I’m not sure I want to get into.
• Still single – by choice. I’ve had some guys I’ve been talking to, but nothing I want to pursue further than friendship or a one time fling. I’m still trying to figure out my life and would rather not get distracted with guys, issues, and drama. Trust me, I have more than enough of that crap in my life at the moment.

So ya…that’s pretty much my life right now in a nutshell.

Can’t believe how long it’s been since I last sat down to actually write a blog post. Damn…feels like an ancient hobby of the past. Hopefully I can swing back into the hang of things and actually get some decent posts out. In the meantime, I’ll be switching the look of the site. Need a fresh start…a new beginning in a sense, so excuse the mess if things are a bit wonky or not working as they should be.

So where have I been seems the topic of a bunch of emails I’ve gotten over the months. I am sincerely sorry for never responding. Life has been…tough. Trying to figure out what you want to accomplish in life, picking up the pieces of the past that haunts you, and just moving on has pretty much taken up any time. I also lost interest in the blogging community. Guess my time away has been a hiatus of some sort….but I am back for now!!

[EDIT:] Yes, I’m aware that the comments page has not been working and will try to fix it asap. – FIXED!! woot

Yes…keeping a journal or diary is actually good for you according to this article.

I had already assumed so because I heard this plenty of times before. Even some therapists suggest it to patients who are struggling with certain issues in their lives.

When I was younger, I had diaries with those little lockets. I’m sure most people can recall them. I stopped writing in diaries because of nosy people in my family. Then, I learned about blogging and have been blogging about my life ever since.

I’m actually considering going back and writing journals again. There’s something about actually inking it yourself that makes it even more personal. Plus, I like having a journal with me wherever I am, so I can write thoughts down and reflect at a later time. With blogging, well…I don’t have a laptop, so I can’t just blog anywhere. I have to be physically at a computer. But even so, it’s just not that intimate as opposed to writing in a journal yourself.

Plus, there’s actually things in my personal life that are really starting to affect me more than it should. Things that make you think both good and bad things…sometimes horrible even. Things I cannot and will not post online because they are that private. But c’est la vie.
