The joy of owning a tv in this day and age. Seriously…back then you couldn’t have all the cool features such as picture in picture, high definition, surround sound, and satellite channels.

I remember my parents telling me stories of when they never had anything like this. The only thing they had was a small black and white tv were you had to turn the knob to change the channels. Oh how the times have changed!

Thankfully, televisions have changed for the better. I even have settings where I can mute and have closed captioning show on the screen. I usually do that when I have an important call I have to take, or a family member needs to use the phone. That way, I can still watch and understand what is going on just by reading the words.

It’s awesome! LOL!…they didn’t have that back then did they? hahaha

September 30th, 2007Criss Angel rocks!

How many of you love watching the Mind Freak show starring Criss Angel the magician? I absolutely love this show!! The things this guy does is absolutely amazing and keeps me wondering how he did it.

His show is taped in Las Vegas and he does a lot of demonstrations at local hotels. I wonder if he ever stayed at the Imperial Palace Las Vegas? I’m not sure but he sure goes to many of them.

If you haven’t watched his show, you should. It’s very entertaining and I swear you will be left thinking, “How did he do that?” Check your local channel listings. It really is an amazing show!!

I’m so happy it’s Friday already. I can finally sleep in tomorrow morning. I miss doing that as I did it everyday throughout the summer. Of course I have a million things to do for homework.

Anyways, did any of you watch the Oprah show the other day where they were talking to the Goldman family about O.J. Simpson’s book “If I Did It“? It was an interesting show to say the least. I understand both positions of the Goldman and Brown family. After watching the show, I am seriously thinking about getting the book just to give it a read. I know he’s a psycho killer and makes it out to sound like he was ‘good’ while Nicole was ruining his life, but I still want to see what his point of view was.

To this day, I still can’t understand why they would give the verdict, “NOT GUILTY”. What honestly went through the jurors minds to come to that decision? He is guilty and everyone knows it. ALL the evidence was there in plain view.

September 14th, 2007Yeah, you really got me now

Whenever I’m at the computer, in my room, or even on the bus, I love listening to music. I don’t have a specific genre that I listen to because there are so many great artists out there. I even enjoy listening to some oldies music which was created way before I was even born.

One particular group that I have in my playlist formed their band in 1972. Can you guess who? Van Halen!! Ever since my aunt played a record of theirs, I have had one particular song in my mp3 player. Which one? The song is called “You Really Got Me”.

Too bad I wasn’t around when they had huge hits and a Van Halen tour. My aunt tells me they were even better in concert! *sigh* I would of loved to see a performance of “You Really Got Me” or “Ain’t Talkin’ ‘Bout Love”.

September 10th, 2007Britney good or not?

Did any of you watch the VMAs?? Her performance was the first one of the night. Even though she looked good, her singing and dancing were horrible!! She forgot her words a few times during her lip-syncing performance. And the dancing? Well, it could of been a lot better. It looked as if she was trying to remember them perfectly. There was no energy at all in her performance except for the dancers on the poles.

Seriously…I thought it was going to be good, but she’s gotta step it up a notch or else no one will be coming to see her in concert.

September 8th, 2007Britney Spears is cold as fire?

Apparently so since that’s what she named one of her songs, “Cold as Fire”. I’ve been listening to it on repeat and I must say it’s rather good. Her other one, Gimme More, which she’s singing at the video music awards tomorrow, is also very catchy.

To be quite honest, I think she’s going to be successful with her comeback. It’s been too long since we’ve been at the clubs dancing to songs like “I’m a slave for you”. I bet many of you agree too. Her songs are just great and she’s good at what she does…even though all the negative press we’ve all been hearing. It’s completely understandable considering she’s got cameras and people watching her like a hawk EVERYDAY!! I know I would go crazy too! Most people would.

I’m looking forward to seeing her performance tomorrow. Don’t forget it’s at 9 p.m. :P

Well it’s Tuesday evening already. Pretty soon I’ll be watching Big Brother 8 on CBS. I can’t wait because one of my favourite players, Janelle, is going to be on it!! Woot!! She was hilarious in season 6 and allstars.

Yup, no other seasons have come close to how good those were because they also had Howie and Kaysar. They were definitely a hilarious bunch!! If you watched it, then you know what I’m talking about. It was really good.

I’m currently working on a few new projects that I hope to have up and running soon. More sites to add to my blog empire. LOL!
