January 6th, 2008Celeb Craziness!

Some celebrities don’t seize to amaze me. Like really…you guys have so much money and then do the dumbest things. There must be a million rehabs catering to celebs we see today.

Is it just me or has Hollywood changed from how it was back then. Maybe it’s just this global obsession with celebs that makes all their faults and problems known. I’m not sure but man…it seems like anyone who has a hit song, movie, or even show as gone bonkers and lost their minds.

I wonder what crazy things we’ll be seeing in the world of celebs this year. Heck, just look at how Britney Spears started the new year. I see the direction it’s heading already. *sigh*

Everyone loves a good tv sitcom to watch. How about one that’s a super controversial trainwreck?? I’m definitely interested in that!! Heehee…

If you are too, then The Harry Situation is a show for you. The website itself tells you the story of a guy named Todd Gruyere. He and his wife created the tv sitcom which has never been aired…yet. Just by watching some of the videos on the website, you could see the true potential of the show. It is really funny!!

So visit the website to learn more about the rise and fall of this incredible show which you probably won’t be seeing anywhere else.

Did any of you watch this yet? It’s Jenna Bush, one of the twin daughters of President George W. Bush & Laura Bush. She was on the Ellen Degeneres show. What happened was that Ellen asked if she would be able to call her dad at any time of the day. So she ended up calling him right from the show. You can see how her parents totally didn’t expect a phone call. Haha…it’s actually quite funny. Take a look below.

Remember the good old days when Arnold Schwarzenegger was a bodybuilder? Man…those were the days. It was always great seeing him flex his muscles and those legs…wow…those legs.

I’m sure he took some kind of bodybuilding supplements to help him look like that. Too bad we don’t see his body anymore since now he’s governor. *sigh*

Just look at these two photos I found on the web. On the left you see him before in his bodybuilding days and to the right, that’s him now…all flabby.

November 8th, 2007Amazing Music

I am totally loving Alicia Keys’ music. Her new album is going to drop pretty soon and I’ll be snatching it up at the store. I can’t wait to buy it!! I absolutely loved her performance at the VMAS this year. It was amazing. Check out the video below just in case you missed it.

October 22nd, 2007I got a package today!

This afternoon I got a special delivery. I looked at the yellow envelope and couldn’t think of what it was. I didn’t order nothing recently, so I was a little shocked that I got a package. Before opening it, I felt what was inside….then a light bulb went off in my head. It was the things I used my Airmiles points on. I had used my points to get two music cds.

They were Kanye West - Graduation & 50 Cent - Curtis.

In today’s society, more and more people are trying to make AIDS more aware. Did you know that there are people who will just sleep with anyone unprotected? I have met a few in my life and I still can’t believe they would take the risk of getting an STD or even AIDS.

Thankfully, we are seeing more and more promotions to make a greater awareness of the impact AIDS makes. Just look at what IndieMV has done. They have partnered up with UNICEF to spread the awareness about how AIDS impacts the lives of children worldwide.

They have a youth video contest going on that provides video clips, images, and music tracks so that contestants can edit and put their own personal statement about the impact of AIDS. This is great since everyone is impacted differently. Some more than others.

By participating in this contest, you could win some great prizes. Some of them include:

  • iPods
  • Cash prizes
  • Nintendo Wii’s
  • Best Buy gift certificates
  • Trip to a concert in Montreal
  • and much more!!

What better way to win a prize that participating in a contest with a great cause. Check out IndieMV - Music+People today for more information.
