I’ve been hearing about Tumblr.com for awhile now. Didn’t make an account until May…then stopped using it. But now, I’ve fallen in love with it again!

I’m not sure what it is about the site that I enjoy. I mean, I have my own domains, web hosting, and use Wordpress for a bunch of my blogs…but Tumblr…it seems so different and just “fresh” in a sense.

But anyways, I made a few blogs using Tumblr like this one and my wow blog. Come visit and follow me. I’ll be sure to return the favour.

And yes…I know most of my domains now need a whole revamping down. I’m hoping to work on each site over the weekend and get some new fresh stuff out on them, clean up some junk, and just make it all more simple and fresh. PEACE.

I hate spam of all kinds whether it be via email or even comment spam on my websites. It’s horrible!! The amount of spam I get is ridiculous. So I need some help to any bloggers out there!!

What spam plugins, addons, or whatever do you use to minimize the amount of spam or fake comments you get on your blog??

I currently use Akismet only and even though that catches some, it lets way too many slide by. My comment moderation feels like a chore with the amount of spam and garbage.

So, help me out. Any suggestions are very much appreciated!

Finally…

Whew…it feels like forever since I blogged here and I’ll tell you just want happened.

First of all, about a week and a half ago, I was unable to see my website. I thought it was just down once again because this site was still on the crappy host I had before (Pixelled-Solutions.com), and I never transferred it to my new host. So I thought it was the same old routine of it being down and would come up in a few days. Nope not the case.

In fact, EVERYONE ELSE could see my website except me. I could load any other website in my browser except for my own. I even tried on my sister’s computer and it was the same results. I couldn’t see it. I went to work and tried on the computers there. It worked. I tried on my Blackberry. It worked. Friends and family tried on their own computers on their own internet connections. It worked. The only explanation I could come up with was that I was somehow blocked from my own web hosting company. I mean, how can I be the only one who can’t see it on my home connection.

Anyways, needless to say, I sent in an email to an email address I saved of the “so called owner”. Of course I never received a reply back because this guy is a jackass. Then a week later, I try out my website and it magically appears again. At the same time I get an email from the company talking about server moving and changes. Sureeeeeeeeeeeee….isn’t that always the excuse?

I also happened to notice that the owner name changed. Maybe the jackass guy sold it to someone else since the name was a female name. But whatever. I don’t care about it. As soon as I saw the sites on that server were up and running, I backed up EVERYTHING!! Then I transferred them all to the new host I’m on. So in case you were wondering how my site being kind of wonky for the past day, that’s the reason.

I’m just glad this site is finally off of that one host. What a pain in the ass they are to deal with. I would NEVER recommend them anyone to ANYMORE!!

Something weird is going on. I can’t load this blog or even the domain for that fact from home. I can load it at work. WTF is going on?? I thought my sites were down or something, but it seems something weird is just going on. I’m at work right now and thought I’d check in. I guess I’ll have to see if it’s working at home now too.

Weird, weird, weird….maybe it was just my browser? I dunno. I’ll have to see once I get home. I still can’t believe this whole time I thought it was down, yet I was able to view it on my blackberry.

And yes…I GOT A BLACKBERRY!! Will update more if it works from home. cya!!

OMG…I can’t believe how stupid people really are. You gotta read this article.

Apparently this guy who decided to rob a place, left a job application before he did the crime. How dumb can you be? Hello…all your information is on the application. Don’t you think the police will track you down? LOL!

Seriously…people never seize to amaze me with their stupidity. It kind of reminds me of all the phone calls I get at work. I have to ask for customer’s 10 digit phone number when they call so I can pull up their information. So basically all I’m asking for is an area code, plus your number. (ex: 416-555-5555). Yet…people are so dumb and can’t count. They give me 1-416-555-5555. How many numbers is that?? LMAOOO!!

Even when I ask for their area code, they give me their postal code. How dumb can you be?!! I’m sure there are plenty of crazy customers out there displaying their stupidity all the time. Wanna share any stories?

Dang…I think I should go submit a story too since I have so many stories about dumb people I have come across. LOL!

It seems like forever since my sites were up and running. Well, ever since Tuesday afternoon they’ve been down. Apparently my host was doing some kind of behind the seems changes which results with every site hosted going down for a few days for the changes to take effect.

If you follow me on twitter, then you know how upset I was without having my blogs up and running. It seem my world was really useless without being able to blog. I know…how pathetic. LOL! It’s the honest truth. I was off some of those days, so I had nothing else to do around the house. All I wanted to do was blog which obviously wasn’t possibly with the sites being down and all.

Anyways…I’m just everything is back up and running now. I hope it stays that way too because I’ve realized how much I can’t live without having all my blogs. Heehee. Time to go catch up on some posting. Ciao!

Ya I know…you probably read a bunch of posts of people upgrading to the new wordpress version. Yup, I’m no different. LOL!

I finally finished upgrading all of my sites and both family/friends websites too. It took awhile but it’s finish. I only ran into one error on one of my sites which I’ll be fixing tonight because I don’t feel like doing it now.

What do I think of the new Wordpress?

You really want to know?? … I hate the default theme. It sucks and it’s just horrible to navigate around. Thank goodness for another theme being available called Fluency which can be easily installed just like any other plugin. At least this theme for the admin is so much better. It’s neat and organized to me.

Anyways…I’m off to go figure out how to get my Technorati incoming links back in my dashboard instead of the stupid Google ones that the creators of wordpress like…for what reason? I have absolutely no clue as those links are never updated! *sigh*
