Week of June 4: Random

How do you learn best? Watch and learn? Participation? Reading directions or technical manuals?
I learn best from watching someone show the ropes first. When it comes to reading manuals my mind blanks out unless I seriously start to concentrate.

Is one of your senses more highly developed than another? If so, which one?
Yes one of my senses is highly developed than the others. That sense is my hearing sense. I can honestly hear everything that is going on in my house. Plus, I can even tell when someone is in the driveway from pretty much any room in the house. It’s really great because I don’t have to go close to people to eavesdrop LOL!

Summer is almost upon us here in the northern hemisphere. What says summer to you?
Summer to my means family picnics and gatherings. I love going to the parks to relax and enjoy myself. Plus, my dog loves it too!

Week of June 6: Name One of Each

Name a movie that made you laugh.
One movie that made me laugh was White Chicks. It is one of my favourites.

Name a book that made you cry.
One book that made me cry is the Chicken Soup for the Soul series. I cry all the time no matter what book I pick up from their series.

Name a best friend.
A best friend of mine is definitely my dog.

Name a favourite childhood memory.
A favourite childhood memory is the day I got my dog. That was the best day of my life since I wanted a dog really bad and my parents never said okay.

Name your favourite animal.
My favourite animal is the dog. I love them because they are so cuddly and are truly a (wo)man’s best friend.

Name your favourite food.
My favourite food is definitely pizza. I can’t get enough of it.

Name an item of clothing you can’t do without.
An item of clothing that I can’t get rid of is a childhood t-shirt that I got from my crush back in elementary school.

Name something you collect.
Something I collect is DVDs. I currently own over 200 and that’s not including the tv series I have on dvd.

Name your favourite store to shop in.
My favourite store to shop in is Wal-Mart. They have everything you need under one roof. It’s a one-stop-shop for me.

Name your favourite flower.
My favourite flowers are cosmos. They grow so beautifully with different colours.

Week of May 28: The Kitchen

What’s your favorite food item that is in your refrigerator right now?
My favourite food item that is currently in the fridge now is the Portuguese cheese by dad bought. Yummy!!

Do you enjoying barbecuing on the grill? What’s something that you make often?
Of course, who doesn’t? Something we make often is chicken breast BBQ. We also barbecue fish on the grill too.

What one item (kitchen gadget, appliance, food item) in your kitchen best describes your personality? Why?
One item in the kitchen that best describes my personality is the stove top. Why? Simply because I am straightforward most of the time, but if you piss me off, I’ll boil like there’s no tomorrow.

Week of May 22: The Movies

What was the last movie you saw at the theater?
The last movie I went to see at the theater was “The Messengers”. This was back when it came out earlier this year.

Was the movie any good? Why or why not?
The movie was excellent. I gave it 5/5 stars on my movie review in my post here.

What are your all-time favourite movies?
Some of my all-time favourite movies include Finding Nemo, The Fast and the Furious Tokyo Drift, A Man Apart, all movies from the serious “Halloween” with the serial killer Michael Myers.

Week of May 15: Food 4 Thoughts

What was the last food you ate?
The last food I ate was eggo waffles for breakfast.

What is your favourite food to eat for dinner?
I know it’s not healthy, but I absolutely LOVE pizza for dinner. Yummy!!

What kind of food do you refuse to eat no matter what?
I can each pretty much all seafood except octopus. I can’t stand that.

If only I went _____.
If only I went to the mall with my parents instead of my sisters, then I’d be happy and not pissed off beyond the point of no return. >_<

If only I bought the ice cream sooner to replace the one I ate that was my sister’s, then she wouldn’t be as pissed off at me.

If only I gave _____.
If only I gave money to my sister to replace what I took of hers.

If only I looked _____.
If only I looked more carefully before I bought what I bought today at the mall.

Week of May 11: Maternal Instincts

If you’re out shopping and hear a baby cry, what’s your first thought?
My first thought is why is this baby crying?

Are the passengers in your car required to buckle their seat belts regardless of age?
Well, considering the other passengers in my car would be 18+, then yes they all are required to wear seat belts.

Do you ever feel the need to clean/straighten your loved ones? With your own spit?
No…LOL! Unless I have children myself, I’m not even sure. hahaha

Some people are described as having “a face only a mother could love.” What people or things in your life do you love unconditionally?
My family. We are by no means perfect – we fight a lot of times. And definitely my dog. I love her too much!

In what ways are you like your mother? What habits, catch phrases, and tricks have you picked up from her?
Hum…I might say somethings she says when she is mad, but that’s in Portuguese and I’m not even sure how to spell it.
