Matthew 28:1-10
After the Sabbath, at dawn on the first day of the week, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary went to look at the tomb. There was a violent earthquake, for an angel of the Lord came down from heaven and, going to the tomb, rolled back the stone and sat on it. His appearance was like lightning, and his clothes were white as snow. The guards were so afraid of him that they shook and became like dead men.
The angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay. Then go quickly and tell his disciples: ‘He has risen from the dead and is going ahead of you into Galilee. There you will see him.’ Now I have told you.”
So the women hurried away from the tomb, afraid yet filled with joy, and ran to tell his disciples. Suddenly Jesus met them. “Greetings,” he said. They came to him, clasped his feet and worshiped him. Then Jesus said to them, “Do not be afraid. Go and tell my brothers to go to Galilee; there they will see me.”

Have you ever just stood at the corner of a busy intersection and watched everyone around? I have and the results are all too common.
What I see all the time is that everyone is so concerned about where they have to be and what they have to do. They seem frizzled and often very angry when they hit a red light. It’s not the end of the world if you just have to wait a few minutes for the light to turn green…
Most of the people I have encountered seem very angry over something no matter what time of the day.
Haven’t these people learned the secret of true happiness? I guess not which is why they need to check out this new book called “Happy For No Reason” by Marci Shimoff.
Marci Shimoff is a featured teacher from the huge bookseller “The Secret”. She talks about something called The Sedona Method which is a great technique that allows you to let go of negative thoughts or feelings. This is exactly what the people I have encountered need.
What is The Sedona Method?
According to this article found on Wikipedia:
The Sedona Method is a self-help technique developed by the late engineer/physicist/businessman Lester Levenson after a serious heart attack nearly ended his life. Lester regained his health and attributed his renewed positive outlook to a process of self-inquiry of one’s beliefs and related emotions.
The process is designed to examine any emotion that one is experiencing and then “let it go” or release it in the moment. The basic premise is that all emotions naturally come and go out of experience unless one resists them. The idea is supported in the writings of Carl Jung who noted, “What we resist persists.”
Do you understand it yet? If not read Marci Shimoff’s new book “Happy For No Reason“. I can honestly say that’s this book was already on my list to read for next month. Any method that promotes techniques in which you can learn to master happiness and seek the positives in life, then I’d definitely pick it up. There’s too many pissed off people in this world. Lighten up folks and find your true happiness!

As you know, one of my new year resolutions was to embrace God in my life. I am Roman Catholic and have believed in God, Jesus Christ, and Mary since I was a child.
The one thing I I have noticed is that over the years I have stopped praying, attending church regularly, and haven’t even looked at the bible in years!! Thus, why I have made it one of my resolutions. I need to get back into the swing of things and become the Christian I want to be.
So, what have I done? I went out and bought a new bible, started praying the rosary again, and even started researching more about God. I started reading the new bible I got and it has brought back so many memories of learning about God & Jesus throughout my elementary and high school years.
Guess what I have also done? I have started making my own rosary. I am nearly completed as I am just waiting for the center piece and the crucifix to come in because I ordered them. Then it will be complete and I’ll take some photos. I am most likely going to make more and maybe end up selling some, so watch out for that sometime this month.
Anyways, I’ll end this post with two photos I took today. Enjoy!

Most people believe in God, though they may call him a different name. Religion & Faith is something a lot of people have. Some are involved immensely, while others just go to church every Sunday. Whatever Religion & Faith you believe in you could benefit from reading some of these articles.
For myself, I am Roman Catholic. So the article entitled “Churches Roman Catholic” was a great read. You should check it out too because I’m sure you’ll find something interesting that deals with your religion and beliefs.
