April 14th, 2008Cuckoo…cuckoo…cuckoo…

I haven’t been too happy these past two days. A few times a day, which happen to be the times I need the web for important things, my wireless internet connection goes all cuckoo. It honestly drives me insane. It will have a signal one moment, then it loses it.

I know it’s not my internet service provider because the one that I’m with now is amazing. I know it’s not my router either because I got only the best. The last thing which I have a feeling that is contributing to my signal loses is the weather. I don’t know for sure, I’m just guessing since it’s been gloomy around here these past few days. Even as I sit here now, it’s catching the signal and then losing it. Meh…what can I do anyways as I know it’s only temporary.

Anyways, my nephew is having a blast over at my house. Every morning I go and say good morning to him and he laughs his head off and smiles. It’s the cutest thing EVER!! I was taking some photographs of him this afternoon and caught a few pictures where I swear he must have been saying these things. LMAO…Check out the photos below. Heehee…

April 12th, 2008Not a good morning

Oh man…I woke up this morning feeling absolutely exhausted, sleepy, and just not good. Not to mention that I’m freezing cold and wearing a sweater plus my faux fur winter coat. Even with that I’m still cold. I just want to stay curled up in my bed for the rest of the day, but I have to work yet again.

So this morning I go and check my email to see what comments are waiting in moderation. I see a few here and there on various sites of mine, but one just blew me away. This comment was left on my site “A Woman’s Diary” which is just an aggregator collection of my websites (ie: RSS feeds).

Some of you may recall the post I published on many of my websites last September 11th. If you don’t, this is what it said:

Though I’m not American, I mourn for the
human lives lost that day.
All of you are in my prayers.

-TinaSilva

Anyways, I get a comment on that post that said this:

It’s hard to imagine, how people have guts to write comments like that. I would never write anything like this, because I would have thought what other would think of me after that. I know that it doesn’t matter who you are in Internet, you can act however you want, but anyway I would remember that a man should act nice and polite, no matter if he is online or offline.

Huh??? Guts to write comments like how? That I mourn for all those innocent people who were killed as the planes smashed into the buildings, as the floors started to collapse on top of each other, as people jumped from the windows, and all those in and around the building!!!

Comments like that just make my blood boil to unbelievable temperatures especially on this subject in regards to the 9/11 attacks on the World Trade Center. When you put all nationalities, races, and cultures aside, we are all humans. We each have a beating heat, a brain, and a conscious. Maybe the commenter didn’t when they left that ridiculous comment on my website which is why I ended up blocking them from ever seeing my websites again.

Stupid people never learn!

April 10th, 2008Awful Morning!

I was lying in my bed just relaxing before I felt the need to get up and get on with the day, and something happened. I got a stupid charley horse (aka a muscle spasm in my right leg). I sat up really quickly because the pain was unbelievable. It hurt so damn much.

I don’t normally get these spasms. I get them once in a blue moon, but geeze…this one hurt like crazy. I was swearing up and down because of the pain. What a way to wake up in the morning!! Now, it’s gone away except that I can still feel some pain in the leg. For example, when I walk, I can’t put pressure on my right leg because it hurts still.

Arghh…seriously…why do charley horses happened anyways especially since I wasn’t doing anything except laying in bed. I DIDN’T EVEN STRETCH!!

April 10th, 2008Zzzz…..sleep…

It’s almost 3 am… I really should get to bed. I have some dvds I wanted to watch tonight but I don’t know if I am going to end up doing so. I’m so preoccupied with my friend Roz at the moment, I just can’t sign off msn and leave her hanging. LOL!

If you all haven’t visited her website DareToFlyFree.com, then check it out now. It’s really great! Anyways… Mr. Sandman is calling my name. Time to sprinkle some dust on me so I can go to sleep. Goodnight!

Yes…I know…It’s 2am and what I am doing? Blogging and making a video about some seafood and my most embarrassing moment. Trust me…watch the video and you will understand why it was pretty embarrassing especially since it happened on a day I’ll never forever.

Going back to talking about the seafood part of the video, have you ever heard of Gulf oysters? I haven’t either. One of the things I DEFINITELY didn’t know, was that your could get sick from oysters if they were undercooked. Plus, you’re suppose to avoid eating oysters if you have liver disease or even diabetes. Geeze..not like I have either but still new information to me.

There are lots of more things you should know about oysters. Go and check it out at BeOysterAware.com.

April 9th, 2008Very Exciting!!

Jack LaLanne’s Power Juicer DeluxeI just love getting emails where it says something like, “Your item has been shipped”. Seriously, I’m estactic right now because of what I ordered. My father was watching tv a few days ago, and he saw this awesome juicer that he thought would be nice to have. So he mentioned it to me and I went to check it out on the web.

We ended choosing to get the deluxe one because it was stainless steel which would match with everything else in the kitchen. So I made one payment over the web so I could get a free $65 value of other neat stuff too. So today, I received the email confirmation that the item is being shipped. I can’t wait to get it!! You can see in the photo off to the side of what I’m talking about. It’s the Jack LaLanne’s Power Juicer Deluxe.

Also, check out the this video below of how it works. Beats anything else I have ever tried.
