The place I work at has been really good so far. The thing I love the best is that all I’m doing is taking orders over the phone and using a computer, plus I’m getting paid mucho dinero!! $$$$$
Once my probation period (aka “newbie” status) is up, I’m hoping to advance within the company. There’s a few different sections I could really see myself working at. One of them being marketing. I absolutely love doing market research and know what people want for the service this company provides. Heck, I know exactly what I would want!!
The one thing I’ll NEVER and I mean NEVER want to get a job with is the customer service department. HELL NO!!
I can’t believer the rudeness I get from people over the phone while I take their order for certain things. Plus, they get pissed at me if I can’t hear them if their phone keeps cutting in and out. So there’s no way I can deal with angry people day in and day out in customer service.
Kudos to anyone who works in customer service. I wouldn’t be able to do it because of the stupidity of the people you have to deal with. Anyone who deals with the general public knows EXACTLY what I’m talking about.

Well I actaully work for a callcenter and i did start out as customer serv rep. Yeah, we really have to learn to toughen up our stomach for the rudeness we get.

I am a customer service rep in a call center. Since I’ve always worked with the public, the awful calls roll off so easy. I just wonder how those people manage to make it in business and life with NO PEOPLE SKILLS.
