I love recalling long lost memories…even ones from my childhood. One of them that I just thought about the other day, actually goes in hand with a special announcement I need to make in this post.
When I was a kid, a lot of times my sisters and I would get all dolled up and dance to random music on the radio. It was hilarious because our hair would be everywhere and the clothes we wore were actually really ridiculous!! But we didn’t care on bit. It was us dancing with the music that was playing.
Guess who was the artist we listened to quite often, due to my parents liking this person’s music? Nope not Elvis…It’s CHER!!!
I just found out that there are Cher Tickets at Caesars Palace. She’s actually have a show starting at the beginning of May this year!!! OMG..that is friggin awesome!! I told my parents and they were honestly really excited to hear about it.
I adore her music. She has such a unique voice that is really easy to listen to. Plus her songs are just so wonderful!! Come on…I think everyone is a Cher fan. You have had to grown up listening to her!! Well, I did anyways. LOL!
So ya, her new show is coming to Caesars Palace which is in Las Vegas. It’s replacing the show in which Celine Dion use to perform. Maybe I can convince my parents of taking the whole family on a road trip down to the States to see her live. Now THAT would be AMAZING!!!
I always get emails or comments about how can I manage so many blogs, maintain a real job, have family time, and have time for myself. The answer is rather simple. Get organized!
- Get an organizer/agenda: This will probably be your best friend. You can keep track of days you work, family events, appointments, and keep a blogging schedule so you can blog on certain days. That’s what I do. I usually keep this info in my phone calendar because it’s much easier for me to see when I’m on the go, but even a pocket calendar can do the job.
- Remove the clutter: In part with being organized, you must maintain a clean environment around you. How else are you suppose to find notes that you made if your desk is one big pile of crap? See my point.
- Use a notepad: Get a nice notepad where you can jot down ideas, websites, things to do, etc. You can even rip out pages and stick it on your screen for things you need to remember.
- Plan your day effectively: Try to do the hard things first so they can get out of the way as soon as possible. Also, look to see what time you can unwind. Everyone needs to rest. Power nap throughout the day if you have to. It’s always great!!
- Don’t forget to eat: Keep some healthy snacks with you at all times. How else are you suppose to keep your energy flowing throughout the day.
- Don’t stress: Yup…don’t stress over the small things. It’s not worth your time, energy, or getting your emotions worked up. Go with the flow.
- Have fun: You have to like what your doing and have fun. If you’re just too serious, you are never going to go places. Take a deep breath and relax. Enjoy your day!
I guess I’m one of the lucky few who doesn’t have bad credit. I can’t imagine not being approved for loans, financing, or even a credit card.
As I mentioned sometime ago, my aunt has had bad credit for a few years now and was able to get back on her feet not too long ago. How did she get bad credit in the first place? It was her crazy spending on 3+ credit cards she had. It was insane!! Then she didn’t make payments for months and it all went downhill from there.
Websites such as BadCreditOffers.com offer you a free consumer resource. They bring you the best “bad credit” offers available which is great since you can get the perfect credit offer even if you have a poor credit history. You can even get approved for bad credit loans.
If you are one of the million suffering from bad credit, then you’ll probably want to check it out.
We have my nephew over for the week. He can be so adorable at times, but then start crying like crazy the next minute. And his screams…well, they are so friggin LOUD!!
Thankfully I was able to take some photos of him while he was in a good mood. These were taken by me but they are uploaded in my sister’s flickr account, so they have her watermark on them. You can click on the photos to enlarge them.
Tell me what you think. Thanks!

If you haven’t noticed, I updated the theme for this blog today. It’s my version of the Be Mine theme I’m releasing tonight.
The Be Mine wordpress theme is a widget ready theme and comes in four different colours - pink, blue, purple, and green. There are also two versions. One is a 1 column theme, the other is a 2 column theme. So choose which one you’d like to use.
You can find these new themes on page 2 of my wordpress themes section. Here’s a small glimpse of the one column and two column themes in pink and blue.

[EDIT:] I fixed the previews that I was having trouble with. Now you can preview the themes on page 2. Check them out!
I love shopping online. There’s no surprise there because I talk about it ALL THE TIME!! LOL!
Likely seriously…think about ten years ago. This wasn’t possible. Of the times have changed and now you can directbuy almost anything online. It’s great!!
The only thing I won’t buy is clothing online. Why? I’d rather try on the clothes to make sure it fits properly instead of buying it without knowing. Then if it doesn’t fit, you have to go through the whole process of returning it. It’s just too much work especially if you buy clothes that aren’t in your own country.
Have you been successful with buying clothes online?
I few years ago, I had no clue what I wanted to do it life in terms of a career. I was working on getting my early childhood education diploma, but I knew that’s not what I wanted to do in the long run.
Some of my classes were in a certain section of my school where there are all sorts of night classes. Half the time the doors to these rooms where opened and I got to see what people were doing.
Some of what I saw actually intrigued me. There were classes for interior design and flower arrangement. These classes look amazing to be and the my school provided things like wholesale flowers and other materials.
I can honestly say that I even thought about attending those classes. That is…unless I found my true passion which is photography. But who knows, I might try those classes out in the future because they looked like so much fun!!
