October 13, 2007 Free New Wordpress Theme!!

I finally uploaded the new theme to the wordpress themes page. This theme is called TSAdapt and is based on a theme by Charity Ondriezek. I currently have this theme active on my Doggy Love blog so you can see it in action there.

The theme itself has 12 colors that you can choose from. It is a 3-column, fixed-width theme that is widget ready. Please read the readme.txt file so you can know how to change the colors as I had problems adding in an options page.

Enjoy the new theme!!

October 11, 2007 McDonald’s Monopoly

I haven’t had McDonald’s for over a year and a half. I broke that record by going out and buying some for my entire family. It was great because the Monopoly game is back until November 13th. Of course I collected all the game stamps from everyone’s order. LOL! Hey…I paid for it :P

Anyways, I am almost winning a few of the blocks. I’m guessing that the missing pieces are probably rare ones which will be hard to get. Geeze, wouldn’t it be nice to win that $50,000 block. *daydreams*

I received an interesting comment today which I decided to blog about. Without naming names, this comment was from a blogger who works at Google and who ironically has a PR7 blog…hum…ya, you’re probably thinking what I was thinking if you’re a PPP postie who got a PR drop.

Anyways, here is the comment that I didn’t approve as I didn’t think it was necessary.

“I wonder if you know paid links are against our TOS”

When I first read that comment, I didn’t have a clue who he was or what TOS I went against. After some digging, I figured it was me using Google Adsense on my website? I don’t know but I did reply with an email asking just for clarification. No reply yet.

Well that’s absolutely fine. I removed Google Adsense from this website because of my so called “paid links”. I will also be “cleaning out the garbage” from any of my other sites that accept paid links and have adsense on them.

No hard feelings to this Google employee as they were only doing their job and notifying me of the TOS. My hard feelings are more so against Google as a whole because it seems they think they control the entire web…that’s my opinion anyways.

Alrighty then, let me end this post with a little note. Maybe certain people outta go to a drug rehab to fix their addictions and let us bloggers continue blogging without having to worry about the…wait for this one…”ALMIGHTY GOOGLE”. *thunder sounds are heard*

Give me a friggin break…

I guess the elections didn’t go too bad even though I voted for NDP. Here’s a little snippet from my local newspaper.

People in Ontario are getting an extra holiday after re-electing the Liberals for a second straight majority.

Premier Dalton McGuinty says the party will follow through on its promise to create Family Day on the third Monday in February starting next year.

Yay! Another holiday! This new holiday called “Family Day” will land on February 18, 2008 since that’s the third Monday in February next year. I’ll be looking forward to that. My sister will too since her birthday is on the 17th, so she can party all night and let me babysit her baby. LOL!

October 11, 2007 No bad credit for me!

Thank goodness I don’t have bad credit. I can’t imagine not being approved for loans, financing, or even a credit card.

My aunt had bad credit a few years ago and was able to get back on her feet and improve her rating. How did she get to that point? It was her crazy spending on 3+ credit cards she had. It was insane!! Then she didn’t make payments for months and it all went downhill from there.

Websites such as BadCreditOffers.com is a free consumer resource. They bring you the best “bad credit” offers available which is great since you can get the perfect credit offer even if you have a poor credit history. Take a look yourself!

October 11, 2007 Magazine Galore!

OMG…I just found out the greatest news ever!! My sister works in a school and they have a fundraising thing going on where you can order magazines at huge discount prices. The teachers get an additional discount on top of the one already given!! This is great because I can order a bunch of magazines that I love for cheap a$$ prices!!

I am sooo happy right now because I absolutely LOVE magazines!! I’ll be ordering a bunch of them for sure!! She calls me on my cell phone…even though she’s just upstairs (lazy I guess), and mentions it to me. So of course I boot it upstairs to check out the flyers she brought home. There are soooo many to choose from!!! Plus, they have pretty much a magazine for every hobby. I would never of known if I didn’t see these flyers she brought. LOL!

Now it’s time to go make some serious $$$ off the internet so I can pay for all these subscriptions! Hahaha
