October 18th, 2007Cat lover?? You MUST read this!!
I was catching up on my daily feeds when I ran into this news article from the Daily Mail. I am disgusted at the person who could do such a thing to his/her neighbours. If you have a problem with friggin animals coming on your property, get one of those invisible fences that just gives a little shock so they know to stay away. You don’t know this!!!!!!!! (read the whole article here)
Here are some excerpts:
When their cats started to disappear mysteriously, the residents of Bramley Crescent were understandably puzzled and distressed.
But this week the search took a disturbing and sinister twist. Each family received an anonymous letter from the ‘person responsible for the disappearance of your cats’.
This malicious act was a form of revenge for the animals apparently vandalising the catnapper’s garden - on the very same street.
Now go and read the friggin’ letter. It’s so disturbing!! I would hunt through the entire street to find out who the S.O.B is and cut up every single thing he/she had in their garden….and that would NOT be the last of it. There are many other things I’d do to this asshole if it were my pet taken away.

While I don’t condone what the cat-napper did, I think that some cat owners need to be more responsible. Letting your animal roam the streets is not being responsible, in my eyes.
It’s not hard to build a cattery in the backyard so the cat still can have outdoor time.
I don’t agree with any type of cruelty to animals and this cat-napper shouldn’t have done what he did. He could have gone about it in a different way.

I tried not to read this ’cause I knew it was just gonna piss me off. This just takes the cake. I mean damn, tell the owners to keep their pets out of your yard or call damn pet control.
I’m not too worried about the cats, honestly. If they’ve been outdoors for a decent amount of time, they’ll be fine. They’ll just have to adjust to finding food instead of knowing where to go for sure when they’re ready, but to take away someone’s pet like that? *suppresses dirty words…*
