Wow…I just signed into my Google Reader, and was shocked. I have 1000+ feeds to read!!!

This is quite A LOT since there was zero when I went to bed last night. People have been extremely busy updating their blogs within the last 24 hours. I’m still amazed at that number. Geeze, I can’t imagine what the number would be if I don’t read them everyday.

Every girl loves to receive flowers from a loved one. I am no different. Receiving a bouquet of flowers just makes my day.

My favourite type of flowers are white orchids just like these White Dendrobium Orchids pictured in the image off to the side. They are just so beautiful and will brighten up any room in your home. I have never been able to grow them myself, but I do buy them to place in my house from time to time.

Week of September 25: World Cultures

What is your heritage?
My background heritage is Portuguese even though I was born in Canada.

What languages do you currently speak?
My main language that I speak is English. I know and speak a little Portuguese and Spanish. I am also learning the Japanese language and know certain greetings and sayings.

If you had to pick a different nationality than your own, what would it be? Why?
Honestly, I’ve always said that I’d love to be Japanese. I don’t know what it is about the culture and people, but it just fascinates me. I wouldn’t be surprised if I had a past life in Japan. I am that obsessed with it.

If you look pretty much everywhere, it seems that many women are turning to Breast Enlargement facilities to improve their self-esteem and body image. I don’t necessarily agree that it’s the way to go, but it seems to be working for some.

Being plastered with magazines showing Hollywood’s finest women with perfect breasts leaves one to think that they obviously had to have some sort of surgery. That’s why it’s no surprise that young teens who look up to these women, are wanting to go under the knife than except their natural breasts.

I can agree and disagree with the topic of getting your breasts done. Here are my reasons:

Pros:

• It’s great because you can get the perfectly round breasts that you have always wanted.
• You may find new confidence in the way you present yourself.
• People might actually recognize your breasts and may even comment.

Cons:

• Getting your breasts done, may not always help you improve your self-esteem. Issues like this tend to go deeper than appearances and skin.
• Something may go wrong with the surgery and leave it’s mark on you.
• Once some people get one surgery, they go back for more because it’s never perfect.

Of course all of the above is my own opinion on Breast Enlargement. It’s up to you to decide whether or not to get it done. Don’t just rush into making the decision because you may later regret it. Take your time and do your research. That’s the safest way to go.

I love sleeping in. That’s exactly what I did today. I figured there wasn’t anything special going on in class (which I have from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m.), so I just stayed home. The morning has been really dark and gloomy. I guess it’s because of the rain we had last night. It was pretty intense. I was watching tv and all of a sudden I heard a big crack of lightening right outside the window. It really freaked me out. Even my dog stood up to see what it was.

I guess it’s a sign that autumn has officially arrived. I’m obviously happy that’s it’s finally here because that means one more day closer to my birthday which is in October. I can’t wait!!

My sister is completely in love with her current boyfriend and they are planning to marry. They have even been shopping around for engagement rings. Of course after the proposal comes the planning. Then, along comes the dress decisions. Oh the torture! Which one to choose?

I’ve been assisting my sister with finding wedding dresses online and looking at the various styles and prices. My sister has come to the decision that she wants something classy but not too over the top.
