This evening was beautiful! It was nice and warm outside but there was a breeze that made the air really cool and great to just sit out and relax. I must admit, I was out there enjoying myself and swinging on the bench swing I have. I remember last summer, I always fell asleep on it that’s how comfortable it was. LOL! And I’m not the only one. Everyone in my family has fallen asleep on it at one time or another. If you don’t have a bench swing, get one for your backyard. It really is great!

Today has been such a slow day. I feel so tired and outside is way to hot. I like the cool breeze not excessive heat where you are ready to strip naked and walk down the street. That’s just insane. My house is nice and cozy since we have the air condition on. I can’t imagine not living without one. That would be the day I have a mental breakdown. LOL!

I don’t understand some young girls today. Don’t get me wrong because I’m still young, but some of them are just…how do I say it plainly…stupid! I know a few different people in my life who currently think they are pregnant or are….and none of them are over the age of 20 years old. What are you all thinking!!??

A child is a lot of responsibility not to mention you need money and a lot of it without having to rely on the government for support. I don’t think they realize the consequences everytime they open their friggin’ legs to random guys or boyfriends. I seriously just want to slap some of them upside the head. WHAT ARE YOU THINKING? It’s going to be easy! I can handle a baby and school. I don’t have to work, my man works for me. WHAT!!!!??

First of all, it’s not easy. I don’t speak from experience because I am not a mother, but I worked in daycare centers and sat and spoke with mothers and fathers of children. Half of them were subsidized and I’d have to say 70% of them were on welfare. You want to try juggling a baby and school? It’s not easy at all. Who’s going to watch your child while you are attending school? Or what happens when you have a huge paper due the next day and your child is crying and needing attention? Can you juggle that? Not without help I’m guessing. And you don’t want to work? How on earth do you think you are going to have enough money just to survive the first year with all the diapers, clothing, furniture, etc you need to get? You obviously need money to get any of these things and it isn’t going to happen on one income.

Some of these teenage girls really have to wake up and smell the coffee. Once you bring a baby into this world, you are responsible for it’s wellbeing. No ifs, buts, or ands. Your parents aren’t going to help you forever and half the time, those guys who are still young and fathered the child, usually end up leaving you. Set realistic goals for yourself and build a better future before you decide to have a child. At least then you can be a real role model and can financially and emotionally support it.

What’s your favorite food item that is in your refrigerator right now?
My favourite food item that is currently in the fridge now is the Portuguese cheese by dad bought. Yummy!!

Of course, who doesn’t? Something we make often is chicken breast BBQ. We also barbecue fish on the grill too.

What one item (kitchen gadget, appliance, food item) in your kitchen best describes your personality? Why?
One item in the kitchen that best describes my personality is the stove top. Why? Simply because I am straightforward most of the time, but if you piss me off, I’ll boil like there’s no tomorrow.
