Week of April 26: Favourite Music

What are your 3 favourite types of music? Why?
My three favourite types of music is first pop. I like pop music because that’s pretty much what I grew up listening to. Such bands back in the day where New Kids on the Block, Will Smith, Backstreet Boys, etc. All teh corny stuff LOL!

My second favourite type of music is r&b. I love listening to singer such as Avant, Mary J. Blige, and India Arie. Their music just relates to alot of things in my life. It’s always wonderful to hear their songs.

My third favourite type of music is hip-hop. I like hip-hop because it’s something I can dance to without looking like a fool. A lot of the songs have a good beat that you can listen to while you cruise in the city.

Do you love winning stuff online? I sure do!! I’m always up new and exciting opportunities to get some neat stuff.

I came across a website called bid4prizes. They are very unique!! How they work is that you get to bid on cool products, but the lowest unique bidder actually wins the auction!! How cool is that!

I haven’t tested the website myself, YET…but it does seem really cool that I just might have to. If I were to win a prize, I’d be estatic!! Come on who wouldn’t be! LOL! Depending on the prize, I’d probably keep it for myself **all mine hahaha**. If it’s something a friend or other family could use, then I’d give it to them. We’ll see…

I got at least two text messages today, from two different friends, about a new planet that astronomers have found. So as always when news comes in, I go ahead and search it on the internet. I am completely mesmerized about what I found in the news in regards to the universe.

European astronomers has found a planet that looks to be almost the same as Earth. They are calling it 581c and it orbits around the red dwarf star Gliese 581 (near the constellation Libra).

These are just some similarities the scientists found.

• It orbits a comfortable distance from its sun.
• It maintains a surface temperature somewhere between 32 and 104 degrees Fahrenheit.
• It could easily harbour surface water (warmth and water often equal life).

These are some unknown facts about this new planet.

• Just because the planet could have liquid water doesn’t mean it does.
• Does the planet have an atmosphere thin and wispy like Mars’s or suffocatingly dense like Venus’s.

Oh man I’ve been so busy the last couple of days. Let me tell you, I’ve had over 5 people asking me to edit their themes and make things work properly for them. Obviously, I’ll definately lend them a helping hand because many years ago, I was in the same situation and couldn’t tell the difference between html and php. So I understand their frustration and needing to ask someone for help. Thankfully, I’ve learned quite a bit these past years and that has improved my html and php skills. Sometimes, out of curiosity, I search on google to read more about different things that can be done using php. LOL! geek…I know! hahaha
