December 25th, 2006Merry Christmas!!

Merry Christmas everyone! Hope you all are having a fabulous day filled with love and laughter and the companionship of friends and family.

Last night is when my family opened our Christmas presents. Then we went to church for the midnight mass. It was really nice and beautiful, plus I really haven’t gone to church for a LONGGGGGGG time. So it was really nice.

Well for Christmas this is what I ended up getting:

  • From Mom & Dad:

- $100

- Sprakling grey sweater

- Black sweater

  • From Lisa:

- A book called “Just Enough Japanese

- A pair of black jeans

- Creamy coloured sweater

  • From Tanya:

- Fresh Prince of Bel-Air (season 1&2 on dvd)

- A black thong

I feel like I’m forgetting to mention something…hum….oh ya and I got The Simpsons season 1&2 on dvd. I bought it for myself and put from my dog on it and wrapped it too. LOL!

Well, tomorrow should be really nice. It’s boxing day here in Canada and I can’t wait to rush out to the mall since there are some really nice savings on items that I wanted to buy. So that’s what I’ll be doing tomorrow. I’ll post what I end up buying later in the day tomorrow.

I also have some Christmas photographs that my family took. I’ll post them shortly just as soon as my sister tells me where she’s put the camera. heehee, well cya!

December 18th, 2006No luck!

Dammit. Walmart was so fucken busy yesterday with crazy ass holiday shoppers who push their way through anything! Geeze…I’ll be avoiding the malls till after Christmas because these people are nuts. Plus, I’m finished my Christmas shopping, thank goodness!!

Well, I went looking for Princess Gwenevere and the Jewel Riders dvd, but I couldn’t find it! Dang! I really wanted it too. I ended buying seasons 1-3 of the tv show Full House. They were on sale for $20(CDN) each. Not bad at all considering most tv series are $30-70(CDN). So I was content with that.

I’ll probably end up going to the States and try a Walmart there on Boxing Day (a Canadian holiday on December 26 - similar to that of Black Friday), since I’ll be hitting the malls everywhere. Plus it’s only about a 40 minute drive to the Peace Bridge in Niagara Falls that links to the States. So see ya fellow neighbourhood american’s there.

December 17th, 2006Christmas Shopping

Well, I’m nearly finished my Christmas shopping. I just need to get something for my mother and my doggy. Hopefully I can get those two last gifts today when I go to the mall with my sisters.

Lately I’ve been looking into getting old cartoon tv series on dvd. One which was my favourite show when I was a kid is Princess Gwenevere and the Jewel Riders. I’ve read on post on the internet that you can find the dvds at Walmart for $1US. That is CHEAP!! So I’m definately going to Walmart today to see if I can find this tv series on dvd. Hopefully I will! *so excited*

I’ll post dvd shots of it if I find it today. Until then, cya!

December 11th, 2006Great Party!!

Well the party was superb!! It was really a lot of fun! They even yelled surprise and started clapping even though they didn’t have to because my parents knew about it. Well I have four photographs that I’m posting from last night.

The first is of my parents cutting the cake. The second is of my family making a toast. The third is just a random shot of the table. There were more people off to the right side of that photograph. The fourth is of my sisters, my cousins, and I just chilling around.

Everyone seemed to have a lot of fun as did my family. It turned out really great even though the minor setback earlier in the day. (read last two posts if you have no clue what I’m talking about)

December 10th, 2006Thank you Lord!!!

Well, I didn’t have to wait till later tonight to let you all know what the heck happened with the surprise party plans we had for my parents. Let’s start with there was a huge argument at my house this afternoon and my dad, being hard headed as he is, refused to go no matter what. We had to tell him the whole deal and how we planned it was a surprise party and all. But still, he refused to go. This honestly made my sisters and I cry in our rooms like fuckin babies because of the fact that we worked so hard to pull this off and all we needed was for him to show up.

His brother (my uncle) even called a hundred times and left messages on the answering machine because my dad didn’t want to pick up the phone. So we were left with no choice but to start calling people and cancelling everything–>not an easy thing to do when you’re balling your eyes out and can’t catch your breath.

So after about an hour and a half, my dad came to our rooms and agreed on going to the party. THANK U GOD!!! Time to call up everyone AGAIN and say it’s back on. *I hate doing shit like that*.

Now, it’s honestly a rush against time, to pickup the cake, balloons, and setup at the restaurant before people start flooding in. Wish us luck!

December 10th, 2006Small Dilemma…fuck…

Well, December 5th 2006 was my parent’s 25th Wedding Anniversary. We have planned a surprise party which is happening today at 4pm(EST). The problem now, is that my parents are mad at eachother over a disagreement they had from yesterday. They aren’t even talking to eachother and my dad decided to sleep on the couch last night (which he never does unless it’s a nap).

Now, this does not look good since we invited family who don’t even live in the same city and they are driving down here. Plus, we booked a restaurant, ordered a cake, ordered balloons, and a whole bunch of other stuff that we needed and had to pay for ahead of time. I honestly don’t know what we are going to do. My sisters and I are freaking out this morning because of this dilemma.

See, earlier this week my parents suggested the restaurant and time for dinner on sunday. The funny thing about it is that we already booked the same restaurant and time and date for the dinner. So that was a great sign. But now, they aren’t talking and I don’t know what to do. My uncle (my dad’s only living brother), is going to try to pursade him into coming to dinner with just our two families. But what my parents don’t know is that everyone else is going to be there. I just hope this works…oh gosh…I’m honestly afraid that it might not.

I’ll write later tonight (eastern time), to let you all know the outcome. I hope it works out as planned. *crosses fingers*

Finally, I have my website back up and running. Though I noticed a few errors in this theme that I must fix right away. It’s been so damn long since I wrote because of a server update/migration that my host made. Then on top of it, the databases that I backed up couldn’t be imported. But I figured that out myself thank god!!

Wow..how I missed blogging. So many things I wanted to say on here about my personal and home life. Fuck, even shit that pissed me the hell off which I’m still mad about. I’ll post that tomorrow or something. OMG!! I’m so HAPPY to be back!! Wow..you know ur addicted to blogging when you are so excited about having your blog up and running again. Word’s can’t even describe how content I am. I will be back soon cause I gotta fix these errors plus my main domain which is still down. *off to fix it*

***Everything is fixed! ***
